- Account/Prospective Client Review

Periodically, the entire staff meets to analyze/critique current insurance
programs of our clients or prospective clients. Recommendations are made to the
client, if any.
- Cash Flow Ramification Analysis

We can provide you with computer print-out as to the cash-flow advantages or
disadvantages of any loss-sensitive programs for you to consider.
- Certificates of Insurance

We can advise you as to the adequacy of certificates of insurance. This would
include limits, additional insured clauses, cancellation provisions and carrier
financial stability. Send us all of the certificates of insurance you want for
an opinion. We will contact your supplier as to deficiencies…takes you out of
the middle!
- Competition for your Business

We look at each renewal as a Ruhl & Ruhl competitor might. We look for gaps,
loopholes, errors, etc. This assures your having as comprehensive of an
insurance program as you want. Coverage is all that is reviewed, not pricing.
This is a comprehensive coverage review, not merely a premium check.

With your permission, we can review coverage in detail with you. This would
include coverage you currently have plus coverage you don't have but of which
you may want to be aware. Buy them or not, it is your decision; an informed
decision is better than an "oops".

With your permission, we can review with you and/or your employee responsible
for safety, some issues you may or may not be aware of or may be too close to.
Maybe a fresh look by an outsider could point out areas you might
address…"can't see the forest for the trees" situation.
- Contract & Lease Analysis

By reviewing your lease and contract agreements as tenant and/or landlord, we
can point out issues you ought to address. Hold harmless agreements and
concerns about who is to cover and/or evaluate improvements and betterments are
just two areas of concern.
- Establish Time Frame for Process of Quoting

On your behalf, we start early by contacting your insurer at least four months
prior to renewal. Should we (you and Ruhl & Ruhl) both decide to market your
program, we will do the specifications, operation narrative (approved by you)
to analyze all of the quotes, discuss them with you and schedule visits to the
carrier's offices, if you like.
- Group Health & Life

Ruhl & Ruhl offers employee benefit plans to custom-fit your wants. In
addition to your traditional "property/casualty" package, we also can
provide you group health, life, disability, dental, key man insurance, etc..
Let us give you our opinions to do with as you please. Hopefully, they will be
helpful to you.
- Marketing Companies

Because it does no one any good to "spin-wheels", every prospective client is
discussed with Ruhl & Ruhl's marketing committee to determine if it is
advisable to proceed. Based on the buying-decision parameters, we (you and Ruhl
& Ruhl) have agreed to, a decision can be made early on as to "go/no go". This
saves you time, us time and our carriers time. Besides time savings, how else
can this benefit you? The companies come to realize Ruhl & Ruhl submits
prospective clients which aren't "wheel-spinners" carriers will, in turn,
devote more energy/time to a quote for you from Ruhl & Ruhl than for an agency
which "throws enough stuff at the wall to have some stick". We don't want you
to be known as "tire-kickers".

- Non-Standard Unusual Employees Coverages Availability

If you need the coverage, we can get it for you! This would include
longshoremen's coverage, jones act, foreign coverage, repatriation expense,
foreign employer's liability, voluntary compensation, etc. With more and more
injuries determined to be job-related, all your potential exposures should be
addressed.
- Offering of Other Coverages

In addition to standard property, liability, automobile and workers'
compensation policies, we can offer umbrella, directors & officers, fiduciary
liability, kidnap/ransom and employment - related practices liability (i.e.,
sexual harassment), to mention a few. Also, we advise you of available
coverages and deductibles in your current program and you decide whether you
want them or not. As long as you know their availability but decide not to buy
them, our job is done.
- Periodic Touches

We schedule periodic "touches" by agency personnel, not necessarily just your
account executive. You are an important client and we don't just visit at
renewal and then send you an invoice.
- Pre-Construction Rate Estimates

We can advise you of the affect construction alternatives will have on your
property insurance premiums for a building project you may be contemplating.
The time to consider the costs/benefits of alternatives is prior to signing the
construction contract. A sample question might be: "How much would I have saved
if I installed a sprinkler system?"

Ruhl & Ruhl can analyze your current published bureau loss-cost rates.
Recommendations to lower your rates will be made. Many times an easy,
inexpensive change will save you premium dollars.

To be assured you know the results of marketing efforts on your behalf, we
share with you the responses from the carriers. Whether carriers have chosen to
quote or decline, we share this with you. It is your insurance program, not
Ruhl & Ruhl's or the company's.

get paid to be your insurance buyer, looking our for your best interests, just
as you expect from your employees, your accountant and your attorney.

We insists each prospective account be submitted to carriers in a uniform
manner. So what? The underwriters agree our standards are very high and are
much more willing to work on your account for Ruhl & Ruhl than another agency.

Umbrella (excess) policy provisions are by no means standardized. We can
analyze other carriers' policies and point out pluses and minuses. This is,
undeniably, the coverage that most protects your company's assets. Hopefully,

Ruhl & Ruhl has developed very strong relationships with its insurance carriers
by making at least three annual visits to all carriers and Ruhl & Ruhl will do
the wining and dining. This makes our closeness to the carriers superior. So
what? By developing better relationships with them, we are better-able to get
you a competitive, comprehensive insurance program.
- We Demand Visits by Underwriters

By bringing your underwriters to see you in person, both of us (your team)
educate the company as to your operations. Maintaining relationships with our
underwriters is very important. We have found this to be beneficial to our
client's programs.
