Brian C. Matlock Commercial Lines
	Brian is originally from the Quad Cities and joined Ruhl & Ruhl in 1997. Prior, he was a general manager for a large, midwest manufacturer/wholesaler-distributor. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and is currently pursuing his CPCU and HCRM professional designations. He is involved with Junior Achievement and United Way, is a past board member of the Quad Cities Chapter of Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), and is the Treasurer of the Davenport Jaycees. matlobr@ruhlins.com Ext. 708
Aaron Matlock Commercial Lines
	Aaron Matlock is the third Matlock to join Ruhl and Ruhl Insurance. Quality of life and family are the two major reasons that Aaron returned to the Quad Cities with his wife in 2002. “I wanted to establish my family in an environment and community that would nurture and support their growth. I feel it is important to give back and contribute to the community. To this end, I am a member of the NFIB, Davenport Jaycees, and RIMS”. Aaron is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and is licensed in Health, Property, and Casualty Insurance. Jon Pohlmann, AAI Commercial Lines
	Jon joined Ruhl & Ruhl, Inc. in April ’04 after 12 years as V.P. of Commercial Lines Insurance at another Quad Cities insurance agency. A graduate of St. Ambrose University in ’80, he is currently pursuing his CIC and CPCU professional designations. Jon is a Past President of the Iowa Quad Cities Rotary Club, Past Commodore of the Lake Davenport Sailing Club, Past Director of the Davenport East Challenger Little League for mentally and physically disabled youth, Past Chairman and current Board Member of The Salvation Army of the Quad Cities Advisory Board and volunteers time at St. Paul Lutheran Church as well. He is a lifelong resident of the Quad Cities and resides in Bettendorf , IA with his wife, Karen and three children. He currently spends his leisure time helping coach his son’s baseball, soccer, basketball, and football teams, and enjoys watching his two daughters’ soccer, cheerleading, and Golduster Dance and Drill teams as well. pohlmjo@ruhlins.com Ext. 706
Ron Themas Commercial Lines
	Ronald L. Themas has been in the surety business since 1973. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Dubuque, Iowa, with a major in Mathematics. Ron spent thirteen years as Assistant Manager for the Hartford Insurance Company, heading up a multi-state region. Ron also spent eleven years as the Underwriting/Marketing Manager for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in their Chicago office, overseeing a seven state territory. At Fireman’s Fund, Ron led a team responsible for marketing, underwriting and servicing Fortune 500 companies and contractor accounts. More recently Ron has been in the agency ranks representing contractors of all sizes and negotiating with the major surety companies in the US on their behalf. 	A Maysville resident, Jeanne has been with Ruhl & Ruhl since 1975. She is a graduate of Western Illinois University and has completed several insurance related courses through the Quad Cities Insurance Education Council. 	Laura joined Ruhl & Ruhl in 1987. A graduate of Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa, Laura received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1981. Jenifer Patten Commercial Production Assistant
	Jenifer was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa. She graduated from Davenport West High School and attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls for two years before graduating from Scott Community College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. Jenifer's Insurance career began at Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island, IL. She then moved to the Atlanta, GA area with her fiancé. In April of 2000, Jenifer obtained a position with Fireman's Fund and became a Commercial Claims Adjuster in December of 2000. In January 2002, Jenifer was offered an Account Manager position with Avalon Risk Management. Avalon is an Insurance Agency specializing in International Transportation and Marine Insurance, Customs and Surety bonds but offering Property, General Liability, Automobile and Errors and Omissions coverages as well. In October of 2003 Jenifer and her husband James learned they were expecting their first child, and moved back to Davenport where they could be closer to family. 	Tammy has been in the insurance business since 1982 and joined Ruhl & Ruhl, Inc in June of 1997. She lives in Rock Island, Illinois with her husband and three children. Bond Department Merilee Kraft Bond Production Assistant
	Merilee joined Ruhl & Ruhl, Inc. in March of 1994 as Surety Bond Assistant. She has been a life long resident of Scott County, Iowa and has four grown children. Merilee has been active in dog training for 35 years and had been a 4-H Dog Training Instructor in 3 counties in Iowa. 	Jennifer is originally from Virginia and graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001. After graduation she was employed as a life insurance customer service rep for GE Financial Assurance. A year later she moved back home to work as a claim rep for Geico Auto Insurance. She moved from Virginia to Iowa in 2003 and joined Ruhl & Ruhl as a commercial claims representative.
